Born From Adversity, Love & Loyalty.
My love for baseball ran deep within my veins. From the moment I swung my first plastic bat in the backyard, I was hooked. The crack of the bat, the smell of freshly cut grass at Ballwin Athletic Association, the thrill of competition were ingrained into my very being.
As I grew older, my dedication to the sport intensified. I spent countless hours honing my skills, attending practices, and playing in competitive leagues. My dreams of playing in the major leagues burned brighter with each passing day. But life had a different plan in store for me.
After two major hip surgeries in college which turned me more into a cheerleader, than a player, I was really down. Realizing I would never step on a field again as a player crushed me. So I had to find something to channel that energy by creating GOAT Vivus (vivus is the ancient Latin word meaning alive/forever).
I found solace in wearing a baseball hat. The moment I put one on, I felt an instant connection to the game I love. It became my symbol, a way to carry a piece of baseball with me wherever I went. The hats became a constant reminder of the joy and passion the sport had brought to my life.
It took months of meticulous work and collaboration to come up a hat that went beyond a simple accessory. I wanted one that represented my story – the highs and the lows, the dedication, the love, and the loyalty I had for baseball. I wanted a hat that embodied the spirit of the greatest of all time.
The final design of the GOAT was a masterpiece – an intricately embroidered logo. My heart skipped a beat when I saw the design. It was everything I could of hoped for and more. The hat not only looked good, but it told a story – a story of perseverance, of overcoming setbacks, and finding greatness in unexpected places.
From that day forward, I wore the GOAT hat proudly, sharing my story and love for baseball with everyone I met. The hat became a symbol not only of my personal triumph but the universal human sprint. It represented the idea that greatness is not solely defined by achievements or fame but by unwavering love and loyalty, no matter the circumstances.
As time went on, my hats became more than just an accessory. It became a conversation starter, a way to connect with others who shared my love for baseball or for someone who just admired someone for having a lasting impact on them.
Through my hats and my story, I created a community – a group of individuals brought together by their shared pursuit of greatness in their respective endeavors. And so, as I don my GOAT hat, I not only carry a symbol of my own journey but also the collective spirit of all those who strive to be the greatest of all time, whatever their field may be.
